With light we can also change the appearance of exterior rooms, we can highlight certain areas or objects, we can keep others in the dark, of course only at night with artificial light. With the exterior lamp HELIOS we can lighten and accentuate certain areas, an object or a plant. The traditional Japanese concept is to place the lamps called “andon” in the corners of the room. This concept enlarges and expands the external area visually in the evening. The exterior lamp can also overtake the task to lighten a bush, a tree or a sculpture in the garden. The external lamp HELIOS can, but does not have to overtake these tasks without turning into a wonder lamp. Usually we don’t have sufficient space to locate all these tasks, but HELIOS could be a good help to perform all these functions in one sweep. And of course it is also easy to build HELIOS with local wood. The lamp shade out of fine linen will create a warm and friendly light, even with energy saving LED bulbs.
